  1. “Q: I walk to work and it takes about an hour to cover three-and-a-half miles. I would rather start cycling to get to work faster, but I don’t want to burn fewer calories. Will I burn the same number of calories by walking or biking the same distance?”

Did a real person ask this question? I don’t want to burn fewer calories is the concern. Another moron walking the planet. If you want to burn less calories, then drive. If you to want to burn more than do something else besides drive. Just make sure that you do it during the night shift while I am not around so that I do not bump into a slug like you. What is going on in our society where you have to get down to such low minutiae of detail. Lets connect the dots people.

  2. Personally, I thought the response was worse: rather than simply reassuring the questioner that exercise has value beyond simply burning cals; the “expert” validates the assumption by recommending a ridiculous, anal-retentive ritual to come up with an answer.

The point is to be active, period…and the best activities are the ones you can stick with.

  3. Yeah, the response to the question was long winded and way too PC, All the more reason why you should be giving advice. You have always given me the best advice.
