It’s not often that I recommend bakeries to readers, but – as a sometime creative person myself – I was charmed by the artistry of Karen Portaleo of the Highland Bakery in Atlanta, GA.

Wow! Those are all amazing. What a talented and creative person. What can be done with cake is amazing. I sometimes watch “ACE OF CAKE” on the Food Network. They do some awesome and beautiful cakes also.

Pretty dang cool but I gotta wonder how they taste and what extra ingredients are in the frosting to get the cakes to look like that.

LOL – I don’t doubt that the ingredient list probably isn’t real appetizing… at the very least, we’re talkin’ some serious food dye here. On the flip side, though, how often are people gonna be eating something like this?
