1) Formula 9: Against a backdrop of writhing, fit bodies and rhythmic dance music, the announcer triumphantly announces the arrival of Formula 9, the most powerful fat burner ever. Of course, TV commercials are hardly known for being understated, and Formula 9 is hardly the first fat burner that has claimed to be the “most powerful.” Nonetheless, it piqued my interest, so let’s take a closer look at Formula 9.

2) Xyience’s Xtreme Carb / Fat Blocker: The Xtreme Carb / Fat Blocker product makes two claims — one, to inhibit the absorption of dietary fat, and two, to reduce the absorption of simple carbohydrates by impeding the action of the enzyme alpha amylase. Of course, there are problems with these claims…

3) Xyience’s Xtreme Fat Burner: Xyience’s Xtreme Fat Burner (labeled as an “AM” formula) claims to be a “thermogenic formula to promote energy, fat loss, and lean muscle appearance.” According to Xyience, “it’s perfect for anyone who wants to decrease their appetite and lose weight.”
Hmmm. Seems like I’ve heard this sort of thing before. Let’s have a closer look at the Xtreme Fat Burner formula to see if there’s anything to these claims. What’s in it?…
