The Makers of “Stiff Nights” Face Stiff Penalties

Sorry – I know it’s a terrible pun, but really… when it comes to sex supps with suggestive names, the jokes kinda write themselves.  According to MLive.com:

A Grand Rapids home searched by federal agents has ties to a company that distributes an herb-based sexual enhancement pill, which the FDA has warned consumers about, according to property tax and online records.

…The Food and Drug Administration last November warned consumers the product Stiff Nights was being marketed as a dietary supplement, but could expose users to unpredictable risk because it contains an illegal ingredient.

…In the FDA warning, authorities say “Stiff Nights” contains sulfoaildenafil, a chemical that can interact with other drugs and dangerously lower blood pressure.

…A website promoting the drug describes it as “the ultimate sexual pleasure for men made from natural herbs.”

The site goes on to claim that it is “comprised of a special blend of herbs, mushrooms and greens” and is “100 percent natural.”

Yup… “100% natural.”  Riiiiiiiight.

If the FDA’s allegations stand up, I wouldn’t mind seeing these guys do hard time (sorry!!!). 😀
