Countdown to Supply Side East
It’s wheels up on the 24th: I’m off to New Jersey and Supply Side East – a natural foods/supplement ingredient trade show.
It’s been a while since I’ve been to one of these – I hit the Natural Products Expo in Boston a couple of years ago, but sat 2009 out. So I’m pretty excited to go. I signed up for the “educational” package, and will be attending these presentations on safety and regulatory issues pertaining to dietary supplements. Looks like interesting stuff.
But the trip won’t be all sciency/legal/networking stuff. I’ll be looking up some friends/colleagues in the area (I already have a fabulous dinner in Manhattan lined up), and – the best part – I’ll also be taking a side trip up to Ontario to see Paul.
I won’t be off the radar, though – I’m packing my new laptop along and will be blogging the show as it happens. So stay tuned…

Have a great trip. Sounds like it should be a fun and educational trip. Let us know what you learn at the presentations. I’m always ready to hear about new stuff. The regulatory side of things sure seems to be getting interesting.
Also have a great time with your friends/colleagues. It’s always fun to meet up with people to catch up on things. Sounds like you’re planning on having a great meal!!!!
