Exercises I Like: Seated Cable Row
I’m off to the gym in a few minutes for a chest/back workout…which reminded me of this vid that my bud Will just posted on the “Bodybuilding Revealed” forum on Seated Cable Rows. They’re one of my favorite back exercises.

Very nice video. I wasn’t aware of this new video he post in the BBR forums. Will demonstrates the forms (good and bad) very well. The dramatics in the slop and chop were my favorite (kidding).
The correct form Will displayed in the first and last demos corrresponds perfectly with what another strength training coach – Mike Robertson demonstrated on T-Nation. The musculature must remain tight and engaged in the lats during the row.
Also most trainees don’t have a clue as to just how far forward they should go on the eccentric protion. Will went just far enough forward to get a stretch in the lats before pulling back which is just right.
When you feel the burn in the lower lats (not the back) you know you are hitting them right.
