Gaspari MyoFusion Review: The Best Tasting Whey Protein?
“Last we checked the typical hardcore, educated athlete using Gaspari Nutrition products is on a 2.5 to 3 hour interval meal schedule, and for this reason MyoFusion™ delivers only the highest and most legitimately bioavailable proteins in existence—hard and fast!”
Protein is a bodybuilder’s best friend, so—when it comes to supplement powders—it’s not surprising to see a wide variety of choices. Thanks to modern food science, the majority of these are both high-quality and quite tasty.
MyoFusion one of Gaspari Nutrition’s contributions to the market. According to the company, it’s a “utility protein” designed to provide peak amino acid levels for optimal muscle growth.
Let’s see what it looks like under the hood:

Stripped of the verbiage, MyoFusion is a predominantly whey protein complex, with small amounts of egg white protein and milk protein isolate. A “lipid complex” and fiber are included too, although the amounts are minimal.
They contribute relatively little to the formula, and probably “work” better as flavor-carriers and dispersing agents than nutrients.
In other words, it’s a nice little fast-acting protein supplement—good for first thing in the morning or chasing a workout.
Taste-wise, it “works” too. I ordered a 2-pound container of the Strawberry & Cream. Even mixed in water, it reminded me of Nestle’s Strawberry Quik (a childhood favorite—lol), except with a silkier mouthfeel. Overall, it had a richer taste than your usual whey-protein-in-water mixture, which invariably seems “thin” no matter how good the flavoring is.
Overall, I liked it… MyoFusion’s good stuff. 🙂
When you drill down to the basics, MyoFusion really doesn’t offer much more than most other whey-based blends do, but it does it in style: it tastes good, dissolves well, and even provides a few value-added extras. It’s also competitively priced.
I’d order this one again—although next time, I think I’ll try the Chocolate Mint…
