Clenbuterol Review & Information: Is Clenbuterol A Powerful Fat Burner?

Although Clenbuterol is not approved for use in the United States, it is widely used in many parts of the world. Not as a fat burner though, but as a bronchdilator — a type of drug used by asthmatics to reduce their symptoms.

As a member of the class of drug known as sympathomimetics, Clenbuterol is very effective in this regard.

It is also considered to be a performance-enhancing drug and has been banned by most prominent national/international sports organizations.

Why hasn’t Clenbuterol been approved for medical use in the U.S.? It’s simple really…

The FDA approval process is an expensive and lengthy one. There are already plenty of effective asthma medications available on the market. Therefore, it’s not really profitable enough for any company to bother introducing it into the marketplace.

Of interest to body builders (and anyone looking to lose weight) are clenbuterol’s thermogenic properties. As a beta-2 agonist, it is a very effective drug for fat burning, at least for the short term. That period varies from 4-6 weeks, after which beta-receptor down-regulation pretty much eliminates any gains you will see with this drug.

The effectiveness of clenbuterol can be measured by an increase in body temperature, caused by the burning of excess energy. If you decide to use clenbuterol, track your body termperature on a daily basis. You should see a rise of a half a degree — when your temperature returns to normal (despite continuing doses of clenbuterol) discontinue the drug — it is no longer working.

Side effects of clenbuterol are similar to those of common stimulants like caffeine and ephedra — insomnia, high blood pressure, shakiness and “jitteriness.”

Common drug brand names of clenbuterol include Spiropent, Novegam, Oxyflux and Broncoterol.
