| New Reviews: Stop Cheating On Your Low Carb Diet
I've looked at two very good and very unique products over the last
two weeks. The first is Jim Stone's Stop Cheating On Your Low Carb Diet.
This is a great publication that delves deeply into the "why" you cheat
on a diet, and offers concrete solutions for avoiding such occurrences.
I should point out... this is not a low carb diet -- Jim's intent is not to
duplicate the material already documented in any of the top low carb
diets -- Atkins, South, Beach, etc. This is for low carb dieters looking
for concrete solutions for staying on their diets.
You might wonder how you could fill an entire publication on tips and strategies to avoid cheating on a diet, right? You might even wonder if such a publication is even necessary. Well, I can assure you, it is. Consider this...
A new study published in the Journal of The American Medical Association suggests that the real key to being successful on diet is not the type of diet you choose, but your ability to stay on it!

New Review: Become The Journey
I really like "Become The Journey". There are numerous reasons why this so -- it's very well written, it flows nicely, it contains a ton of very useful cutting edge information. As a teaching and learning tool, it can carry its weight against publication I've read. But that's not the main reason I feel so strongly about it. Nope, I like "Become the Journey" because it discusses something most diets skip altogether, or give only passing mention.
And what's that?
It's the "personal development" aspect of healthy living. It's about...
i) overcoming your fears and insecurities in order to succeed.
ii) tapping into your inner strengths to make a personal commitment, not to a diet -- but to a new and healthy way of living.
iii) setting goals tied directly to mind, body, and spirit (there is a powerful spiritual element to "Becoming The Journey") and then determining"why" that goal is important. This is a critical step -- if you can't come up with a powerful reason "why" your goal of losing weight is important, it's unlikely you will attain that goal, correct?

The Ultimate Fat Burning Diet Primer
I've never actually reviewed my own book (I suspect I'm probably not the best one to do so! :-). However, I recently wrote an article why I wrote it, and what I intended to accomplish with it.
You can read that article here!
