| Carnitine Review
Contrary to popular belief, Carnitine (sometimes referred to as l-carnitine) is not an amino acid but a quaternary amine, which the body manufactures out of two amino acids -- lysine and methionine. Carnitine is found naturally in such food sources as red meat, fish and dairy products.
Carnitine plays many important roles in the body, but the most important one from a fat burning perspective is Carnitine's role in escorting fatty acids to the cell's mitochondria (think of the mitochondria as the cell's furnace) where they can be burned as fuel. Because Carnitine plays such a role, many have postulated that supplementing with Carnitine should aid in weight loss.
However, studies to date have been largely unequivocal, and there does not seem to be any real evidence showing that supplementing with Carnitine will either increase the rate or the number of fatty acids that are converted into energy by the cell. In other words, Carnitine for weight loss is pretty much a bust.

Suvaril fat Burner Review...
Suvaril is now a household name in fat burners, thanks to an extensive radio and T.V. advertising campaign. In fact, Suvaril has generated more requests for a review than any other fat burner in recent memory. I suspect this is in large part because the Suvaril advertising claims -- slow, gentle, long-term sustainable weight loss and management -- is much easier to "swallow" than products claiming to have you losing 30 pounds in 30 days.
Unfortunately, this doesn't necessarily mean Suvaril will do much more for you than a product making ridiculous claims, but it does put them in much less danger from running into trouble with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (the FTC prosecutes companies that make false and unsubstantiated product claims. They often target the makers of weight loss products).
Without even checking into the formula, there are plenty of warning signs on the product Web site (I visited 1-suvaril.com). There are of course, no clinical trials of any sort validating any of the product's claims, nor any justifying some of the apparent benefits of certain ingredients. The most amusing warning sign I encountered was on the FAQ page. The question was...
"How does Suvaril work?"
