PatentLean is a relatively easy fat burner to review -- it contains only one ingredient -- 3-Acetyl-7-Oxo-Dehydroepiandrosterone, or 7-Keto for short.

7-keto is a metabolite of DHEA (a steroid hormone occurring naturally in the body and produced in the adrenal glands) that exhibits no apparent side effects. I.e., 7-keto does not convert into to testosterone or estrogen, and has no effect on the sex hormones. What are the best fat burners? What supplements do you like and recommend? Is there any fat burner product actually worth taking?

These are questions I get a lot.

While many of you have written to me to say how much you appreciate my reviews, I see the frustration in those of you who are desperately looking for a quality fat burner to help make your weight loss journey a little easier... and can't find one.

And yet, so far I have stayed away from making emphatic recommendations for ephedra-free fat burners. Why?

Well, it's not that I feel that they are all useless. They aren't -- many are well formulated quality products that can have a place in a properly constructed diet and weight loss program.
