A Couple of Cool E-books...

I'd like to make mention of a couple of great e-books I've read lately. I haven't posted full reviews on Ultimatefatburner simply because they are a tiny bit off-topic -- both are health related, and not weight loss related. Nonetheless, both deserve a mention, and if you are interested, please check them out.

The first is Cultivating Prostate Health, a well written, nicely formatted PDF e-book focusing on providing alternative preventative and curative suggestions for prostate health. I'm not any sort of expert in the matter, but I found it to be a superlative publication.

The second is 5 Tibetan Rites, a Chet Day reprint of Peter Kelder's The Eye of Revelation. This is pretty interesting as well, and focuses on 5 specific yoga-like exercise performed by Tibetan monks to maintain youthful vigor, energy and health. Along with the bonus files Chet provides, it's a pretty interesting read.

... Has got to be the most common question I receive from visitors to Ultimatefatburner.com. Most people wonder if an ephedra-based fat burner is the solution to the severe bouts of fatigue they suffer throughout the day. Fact is, ephedra will provide you with additional energy (as well as weight loss), but it only provides a band-aid solution to a more critical underlying problem.

I've found that many of the folks asking me for such a solution are running into this problem because their diet remains rich in high glycemic carbohydrates (like breads, buns, sweets, crackers, pastas and so on). The extreme vacillations in blood sugar levels brought about by such a diet cause severe swings in energy levels, and even crying spells, shakiness, and listlessness in the worst cases.

Stock Up Now... Before It's Too Late!

Despite the fact that there is absolutely no scientific basis for doing so, both California and New York will be implementing legislation to ban ephedra-based products by January 2004. Both states may as well consider banning aspirin and peanuts too, since both are significantly more dangerous than ephedra, considering the number of individuals they kill each year. Despite the relative outcry against ephedra, it can only conclusively be tied to half a dozen deaths in the last 10 years. Considering the millions of dosages taken annually, that's many, many times safer than average over-the-counter drugs.

So now might be a good time to stock up on your favorite ephedra based products before they are no longer available. Here's a couple of our best sellers...
